AI in the Wild: Beyond the Cloud

AI in the Wild:
Beyond the Cloud

In this session we will discuss what happens when AI Agents enter the physical world. Our work landscape will soon be made up of networks of humans and AI Agents, working together. Some of these AI Agents will also interface with and navigate in the physical world.

Industrial AI already has a wide range of applications, including in manufacturing, logistics, transportation, automotive, and health care. As we begin building complex systems-of-systems, what integrations are possible and what are the risks that we have to manage?

We will explore:

  • The Emergence of AI Agents
  • AIs that can Understand the Physical World in Real-Time
  • AI in the Space Industry
  • AI and Edge Computing: Preventing Failures before they Occur
  • Digital (AI) Twins: Linking AIs in the Cloud and in the Physical World
  • Emerging Industrial AI Applications
  • Organizational and Industrial Transformation
  • Investment Trends

Program:

4:30pm-5:30pm Reception, Networking
Wine, beer, sodas, and light appetizers will be served.

5:30pm Introduction: AI Beyond the Cloud

Frode Odegard
Chairman and CEO, Post-Industrial Institute

Frode Odegard studies how enterprises, investors, and policymakers can best navigate the transition to a post-industrial civilization and economy. He is the founder of the Post-Industrial Institute, which provides advisory, educational, and strategic services to corporates and investors to help them turn disruption into opportunity. Frode is also the founder of the Post-Industrial Forum, a global community formed to develop and promote a better understanding of the post-industrial transition and how to navigate it. Its members include investors, executives, founders, and policymakers.

About the Post-Industrial Forum

For the first time in the history of humanity, we have exponential technology development coupled with massive decentralization. Rapid progress in Artificial Intelligence is further accelerating these trends.

We believe that humanity is experiencing a profound change, on an anthropological level. We are transitioning to a post-industrial civilization, and many industrial-era assumptions about jobs, organizations, and industries are becoming obsolete.

Brought to you by the Post-Industrial Institute in collaboration with industry and academic partners, the Post-Industrial Forum brings together leaders building the organizations of the future. Our purpose is to connect the dots and find smarter ways to navigate the changes now taking place.

Forum members build relationships with other pioneering practitioners, get introductions to invited speakers, enjoy  access to exclusive content and events, and participate in post-industrial management research and education.  Organizational members include Hyundai, MARA, Siemens, Broadcom, Swisscom, Tech Mahindra, and SRI.
